Orlando to canaveral :-(

Leaving on Freedom of the seas 2/27.

Have to shuttle from ORLANDO to canaveral. Daughter booked this as a surprise for me, my so, and her and husband. I am paying own way.

Will have to fly SWA into Orlando.

Yes, cabinis great...deck 9, mid-ship. Itinerary includes Coco Cay and St. Maarten.

How horrible is this shuttle thing going to be? I prefer leaving from lauderdale or Miami.

I took a Disney shuttle from Orlando to Canaveral once. It was a very pleasant ride.

Just curious why you think this will be a mistake. It's about an hour ride down an expressway thru the Florida interior. How else would you rather go?

Hi and Thanks for your input. It just seems more of a hassle....and of course, when it is an unknown entity...I have my "trouble" hckles raised .

I have flown into both Lauderdale and Mimai and embarked there.

It is what it is...can't be changed...so...I'll be going on that ride.

Did you take that shuttle?

Otherwise, this Freedom of the Seas , deck9, balcony suite,mid-ship is gonna be swell!

The only problem is that FFL is something like 3 hours from Port Canaveral and Miami is about another hour away as opposed to 1 hour. This seems to me to be much more of a hassle, and probably much more expensive. you know what you want better than me, but if it were me, l'd do it the way that your daughter wants to do it. All in all, I'm sure that you'll have a great cruise. Enjoy!
