Since this is a new forum, I'll go ahead and post the first introduction topic for our new members! Here we go... biggrin.gif

I'm Jason, and I'm the founder and owner of CruiseCrazies. I was born and raised in South Florida and love it here! Living so close to the popular ports of Miami and Fort Lauderdale, it's very easy to hop on a cruise or at least drive by the ports and check out the ships. My first cruise was in 1995 with my parents and sister, aboard the Carnival Sensation out of Miami. Immediately upon boarding this first cruise, I became fascinated with everything related to cruising....and like many others, asked the infamous question....."How does this thing stay afloat???" My fascination and passion for cruises several years later inspired me to create an online forum where cruisers could connect with each other and discuss all aspects of cruising....which would eventually become CruiseCrazies! I've been on 27+ cruises....All of which have been Carnival, except for one which was Royal Caribbean.

On a more personal note, hockey is my fav sport, and I started playing roller hockey at a young age and in more recent years also picked up ice hockey which is even more exciting. I also enjoy working out at the gym, skating on the beach, sand volleyball, shooting pool, eating, the beach, and of course cruising! I love BBQ food...especially baby back ribs and wings. I'm a huge movie buff, and I love watching all kinds of movies - especially sci fi and horror flicks!

That's a brief introduction about myself - To all new members, welcome aboard, and please stop in and introduce yourself in a new topic so we can begin to get to know you and you can see why CruiseCrazies is known as The Friendliest Cruise Community on the Net!
