sailingrose
What is your favorite Cruise Excursion of all time????? OK so if you want pick 2........but no more then that For me, I have to pick the Float Plane in Ketchikan Alaska to Misty Fjords. My Daughter and I got picked up at the ship and brought to the planes dock. It happened to be right next to a fish processing plant and the waste brought eagles, dozens and dozens of them. Then we boarded the floatplane, put on our headphones and took off. We flew over gorgeous mountains, some green and some white. It was so calming just to look out the window. We landed in the middle of the Fjords on a very tiny island. One side was a snow covered mountain the other a green one. It was so peaceful you could hear a pin drop.........loved every second of it and I'm scared of flying in small planes! LOL The scenery took away all my fears. It is definitely our fondest memories. I told you my favorite.........now it's your turn!
rogue
I think, for us, it was whale watching in Juneau. That day couldn't have been better. Los of whales and bubble feeding A real treat. Of course, there was the excursion where I learned why the chicken really crosses the road, but that's another story! jobowl
Gosh too many great ones to pin one down. Since we do most tours on our own. Alaska served in the Army in Alaska so I really never cared to go back. Hong Kong was great. Had a great one in St. Thomas. That is the best I can come up with. I agree sometimes Thank God for the beer!

coloradocruisers
Probably floating down the underground river with my two sons at Xcarat, Mexico. It was just so relaxing. (...and I'm still trying to figure out why the chicken crosses the road. Why doesn't she just stay over there instead of crossing back and forth????) Shari2
Hi Rose...yours sounds wonderful! Mine was in Hawaii...one was a ship's tour to the Polynesian Cultural Center along with a fantastic show in the evening that showcased all the people's of Hawaii. That was on Oahu My other favorite was when we decided to tour Maui on our own; we just stepped off the ship and went with a young man who offered us a tour...it was the best tour we have ever had. We toured most of the island of Maui. He was great about telling us the whole history of the people and the island...we also could stop for lunch and continue on to do anything we wanted to do...later on that evening we went to a fabulous luau that I will always remember. Love Hawaii!
