Sailing out of NYC

Jerry and I always make a point of going to Atlantic City when we "go back East" to visit family. A little bit more expensive than Vegas and a whole lot more expensive than the cruise ship. But so much fun.

I love "3 vacations in one!"

Having taken many cruises out of NY and living here. I recommend you get a starboard room. If you are high enough, the statue of liberty looks right in at you.

On the way home, the skyline is great in the morning with the sun rising from the east. You will notice that when you depart, all if not most of the people will be on the starboard side to view the lady in the harbor and Ellis island.

You might want to be on the top deck when the ship goes under the bridge. That's exciting, to see how close you get to the bridge.
