Celebrity Constellation

I'm still searching for our next vacation.

Celebrity Constellation has a 14-day out of Ft Lauderdale that they say "exoctic Caribbean": Aruba, Curacao, Grenada, Barbados, St Lucia, Antigua, St Maarten, St Thomas.

I made a Pros/Cons list. Pros consist of:

Islands we've never been to (in italics)

We love Celebrity

It's a 14 day cruise

Cons consist of:

6 islands in a row (underlines)

Kinda pricey

I know you guys had fun on "the Connie", but I'm wondering. If you weren't with the Cruise Crazies group, would it have been just a good?

Debbie - I would sail on the Connie and go to those Islands again in a heartbeat. We went to all of those Islands except Granada. Granted we had a lot of fun with the Crazies during that cruise but I think I could find plenty of things to see and do even if we were sailing alone.

Mary Lou: I went back and re-read the reviews and it really sounded like it was a great ship with lots to do. I'm glad to read that you would go back to the islands again. Thanks.

As we all know, Celebrity doesn't usually discount their cruises. So now I need to see if I can get any perks/freebees.

I agree with MaryLou. That's a great itinerary on a great ship. I also loved that there were lots of seadays also. It never felt that we were getting too tired from all of the tours. :thumbup:

We cruised the Connie for New Year 2008, and as we stated in our review, "All and all we would rate this cruise one of our best yet."

We loved everything about the ship. It is one of the ships we would like to cruise on again. :cool2: :cool2:

I truly love Celebrity. I have to wrap my hands around the fact that they don't discount. I understand and appreciate that. It's just hard. Jerry has the weekend off so I can run this by him. Thanks for your input. He'll like that all of you love the ship, the itinerary and would go back on the ship in a heartbeat.
