The line kicks off its 2011 Bermuda program next month and will operate a record 16 departures from four popular eastern U.S. homeports: Baltimore, Md.; Norfolk, Va.; New York, and Charleston, S.C. Carnival is the only cruise line offering Bermuda cruises from Charleston. The voyages include a variety of six-, seven- and eight-day itineraries from April through November. Six-day voyages feature an overnight call at Bermuda, while seven- and eight-day cruises offer two nights in port. All 16 voyages dock at King’s Wharf or Heritage Wharf. While in Bermuda, guests can relax on magnificent beaches and visit centuries-old historic sites such as the Royal Naval Dockyard and Gibb’s Hill Lighthouse, the oldest cast-iron lighthouse in the Western Hemisphere. A wide variety of water sports, including snorkeling, kayaking and scuba diving, also are available.
