Hi guys: Well that necessary part of any cruise is in progress. Its the planning. I have booked the hotel for a pre-stay in Istanbul as well as the ride to it. Its pretty reasonable to use the hotels car service as its 25 euros only. Not bad. We also have a guide for the two day stop in Ashdod. Lots more need to be done as we need guides for Haifa and Ephesus but that is to come. As for Athens and Rhodos I think we will wing it when we get off, esp. for Rhodos. Well half the fun is the planning. At work now and duty calls. Gotta run.

Enjoy your planning. istanbul is still on our bucket list. We have done Athens twice and enjoyed the trip down the peninsula with a driver Spiros much more than just walking around Athens and the market etc. Of course the first stop was going to the Parthenon. Enjoy your cruise!!!
