Panda
In my welcome message I noted that I haven't been cruising for quite a while but am now on the early stages of preparing for a cruise. I want some new experiences. I'm considering Royal Caribbean as I've never traveled with them before. I like a ship with comfort. I want to be pampered. Is there an RC ship that you think does a really good job of this? Which is your favorite in this regard?
sailingrose
Panda, I sail RCI the most and love all the ships I've been on. I think the choice of ships would depend on the itinerary. If you could narrow it down I bit that would help
DebbieandJerry
I'm guessing that it depends on where you want to go, age of ship, last date of refurbish, length of cruise. Many "cruise crazies" have travelled RCL numerous times and have incredible things to say about their trips. Look under the Reviews tab. We've had recent RCL travellers posting their reviews there. rogue
RCCL has really made te BIG ship experience great. We have sailed RCCL, and loved all of ourcruises on them. We've been on the Voyager Class ships, and loved the experience.
Panda
I prefer ships with a lot of things to do on them. I haven't picked a destination and since I'm just starting have not reviewed where RC sails. I want to stay away from the pirates <G>. Perhaps something down under or Caribbean in nature. I'm actually open to suggestions.
LynnS13
We sailed on the Explorer of the Seas and have another one booked for March. She is an older ship, however still VERY comfortable and elegant..... There was always PLENTY going on and most things were free!! I agree with the others, it depends alot on what ur itinerary is and what port u want to leave out of. We like to go out of Bayonne, NJ (Cape Liberty). It is about 1.5 hours from us and I don't have to worry about how much my luggage weighs....hahahaha. Hope this helps, Lynn
ametrinel
F you are wanting ships with a lot of things to do, the Oasis class definitely is the one to do. They have zip lining, rock climbing, scuba lessons, wave surfer, sports pool, basketball court, lots of shows, adult-only pools, kids pools...too much to mention.
