I have a couple of friends that are cruising on the Sensation in June. I "believe" the ship was drydocked/upgraded in 2009. Can someone tell me what they upgraded or added and removed? One of them is the addition of waterworks I know. My friends have been on the Sensation before but prior to 2009 so they are interested in the changes.

I believe the Sensation is one of the ships that has the upgraded pool deck, complete with the tiki style umbrellas, covered hottubs, etc. I think Carnival has done a nice job renovating the pool decks on these ships!

Yes, While in dry dock Carnival added more Balconies to the Sensation updated the Main Dining room and buffet area, added a new lounge, These are what we noticed when we sailed on her a year ago.
