How far out have you booked.

We talked about grabbing those lost minute deals on cruises but what is the longest you have had to wait for a booked cruise.

We booked the Crazie Explorer cruise about 19 months out and the wait has been so long. It gives you lots of time to plan but just seems like it will never get here.

We are always talking about "our next cruise" the minute we board the plane on the "current cruise". Sixteen months is about as far out as we have booked.

I have to agree that when it's that long between trips, the anticipation becomes a bit much.

We try to book our end of the year cruise by at least March. This year we are holding out for better deals. Our cruise for Sept we booked in late Feb.

The Crazie Explorers is as far out as we have booked. We usually book about 6 months out

The longest I think was about 1 1/2 years, but there was another cruise stuck in the middle.

We used to go within a couple of months, and even booked one with only 10 days to go, but two of our cruises on Celebrity, Panama Canal, and Hawaii, we booked out by about a year, and a year and a half. We got some pretty good prices then.

Since we sail about 4 times a year, I book them up to a year in advance so Karen can get vacation time at work locked in.
