How much time on the balcony?

The room seems so much bigger with that big glass wall and door to the balcony. Karen spends time out there sunning sometimes, and I enjoy reading out there in the shade. We love breakfast out there, especially on Celebrity in concierge class with full breakfast menu and linen table set.

We spend a lot of time on the balcony. Jerry is a smoker so that is usually where you will find him (on the ships that permit smoking). I love to sit and read, knit or just watch the ocean.

When we cruise with Marcy and James, we try to get adjoining balconies so that we can open the door between and then have a nice long balcony. One time we were lucky enough to get adjoining rooms and adjoining balconies. That was nice!

Howie could sit on the balcony all day as long as the sun isn't shining on him. I love the large aft balconies so I can lay on a chair and read in relative quiet. I sat on our balcony in Alaska with a coat and a blanket and loved it! Of course it might have been the hot cocoa with the Bailey's in it too.

Jackie loves being out there for sunrise. We eat breakfast sometimes out there. On Seas days we use it more often. I enjoy sitting out there before retiring for the night.

We're on the balcony all the time. From early in the morning until right before bed,we could be out there. Nothing like breakfast on the balcony in concierge class on Celebrity.

Do you spend a lot of time on your balcony or would you be just as happy without one? I think we would really miss not having a balcony. We spend a lot of time on ours.

Since we don't book balconies we spend 0 time there!:wink2: :wink2: We were upgraded to a balcony once and really never used it.
