cruisetarp
Since we all know cruise ships are notorious for not having nearly enough elevators to hand the amount of passengers on board do you wait for an elevator or just use the stairs. I have trouble walking up stairs so I usually wait for the elevator but always (usually) walk down. Somehow my lungs don't mind going down as much as going up. DebbieandJerry
As the exercise "nut" in our group, I am always taking the stairs: up and down. Even with all of our carry on baggage. Jerry does not do well on the elevators that have glass. So as pretty as they are, we have to avoid them. Marcy and James complain that up makes their knees hurt. But they trudge along! sailingrose
Elevator up unless it's only 2 flights then I will walk, always steps down for the most part.
KeithnRita
We seldom take the elevator. It's our suttle way of getting some exercise while on a ship!
cruisetarp
Guess I should really proof read my posts before I hit the submit button. Naturally topic should be: ELEVATORS OR STAIRS I think I need a cruise
rogue
We will frequently take the stairs, unless we're going more than 3 floors up. We'll go down on the stairs almost always.
Shari2
I'm with you, Mary Lou. I use the elevator for up most of the time. I try to always walk down unless it's many, many steps.
scalise12
We use the stairs going down only 1-2 decks going up, it's hard for me to use stairs going up.. scalise12
hazelson
Stairs - as long as its not up too far - I love going up to the buffet in the early am and taking goodies back to eat on the balcony.
coloradocruisers
We try to take the stairs as much as possible. But since Sharon broke her ankle last year, it does start to hurt on some days. And then we wait for the elevator...
