debs6475
Hi Everyone, We are going on the Celebrity Century to hawaii on ocotober 17, 2011. This will be our first cruise on Celebrity and also our first cruise or trip to Hawaii, so we are very excited and looking forward to meeting lots of new friends as we have on our previous cruises. Lets get ready to have a great time! Ron and Deb Myers Spanaway, WA
DebbieandJerry
Our first Celebrity was on the Century. It's a smaller ship, but a fabulous one. Celebrity treats their customers like no other that we have been on (primo). For instance, when the waiter found out that I loved avocado, sliced avocado was on the table every night (without asking for it). Our first Hawaii cruise was fly there and sail around. We really loved that. We stayed 3 extra days after the cruise was over. The second cruise left from San Diego (Celebrity Mercury), sailed for 5 days; sailed around the islands and sailed back (another 5 days). OMG: we loved it! The one thing we did notice was the age difference. The first cruise had a lot more younger folks and families. The longer cruise tended to attract lots of older folks (some that weren't permtited to tender off the ship). I hope your Celebrity experience AND your Hawaii experience is as wonderful as ours have been.

debs6475
Thanks Debbie and Jerry, we are very excited and I really am now counting down the dyas until we leave. The weather here in WA State has not been that great so I am liiking forward to the sun. I think the Century will be a great ship, I have heard both positive and negative reviews but as you know everyone has an opinion. We aren't too picky because as far as we are concerned any day cruising is better than a day working...
