Group Discount Rate for Oasis of the Seas

Hello Fellow Cruise Crazies,

I am a fan of Royal Caribbean and am wishing to find out how many people it would take to earn a deep discounted rate for their Cruises out of Fort Lauderdale in July 2012.

When they first commissioned the ship, the 7 day rate was something like $775.

Now, you cannot book a week trip for less than $1215!

The other part of this question is: are there enough of you out there that would be interested in Cruising if we were by shear numbers able to garner a 40% to 50% discount if booking way early?

WE WOULD BE MORE THAN HAPPY TO JOIN YOU, BUT WE ARE ALREADY HAVE 2 CRUISE'S BOOK IN JULY 2012.

Good luck to you and keep us up to date on your plans. I seriously doubt you will ever see a 40% or 50% discount for a group. The most I believe you could hope for would be one free passenger for every 8 double occupancy cabins booked. It is definately worth a try though.
