72 hour sale VS looking for the same cruise

Rate this topic

Recommended Posts

Hello,

So i am looking at Carnival.com and see the 72 hour sale banner...great i think....

I look up the cruise i want for Feb 2012 and it comes up 100 more than if i search for it under find a cruise.

What kind of sale is that ????

Same thing happened to me. What I learned was "the sale" was specific cabins on specific sailing dates. Not all ships, not all dates AND not all cabins.

But, if you select Early Booking and the price drops, Carnival will give you obc for the difference. So it does pay to continue watching.

I agree. Rarely is a sale for all of their cruises. I did Early Booking for our next cruise and already the price has dropped twice. We're going to end up going with lots of OBC with the price drops and the points from my carnival credit card.
