Does it really matter to you where your cabin is?

Like many other we like the aft balconies the best. Any balcony is good, although we like mid-ships the least. That's only because we both love the feeling of the movement of the ship. I prefer the bow of the ship (close to) if possible. One thing we don't like is a balcony close to the mechanism of the lifeboats or the anchor .... the quieter the better.

Have been in rooms as small as a closet from back in the '70s to inside, outside, balcony, one Jr. suite. We really are spolied by the balcony...we always try to get a balcony...the suite was really nice, but not something we can always afford.Aft is good, or midsection...we have had way forward a few times, and it was a bit rocky, and we could hear the anchor once or twice, but, other than that forward wasn't bad.

I could care less what kind of room or location. In saying that Jackie loves having a balcony so we always get one. She finds Aft balcony her 1st choice. We usually book late so the Aft balcony is usually booked by the time we book..
