Leaving From Baltimore in the Winter

I know that the first couple of days will be cold, but we're doing this trip just to get away for a cheep cruise. I'm just wondering if anyone who has cruised out of Baltimore can tell me how long it takes to get to the Bay Bridge Tunnel. Thanks.

Howard - It takes about 8 hours to get to the Bay Bridge Tunnel. Sailing around dinner time we always missed it but last time we didn't sail til shortly after midnight and we were having breakfast when we passed it.

This trip costs $550 pp for a balcony cabin with no airfare for us. If we had this kind of prices, we would sail 3-4 times/year

We've been tempted to drive to Baltimore for a cruise but it would be a crap shoot for us in the winter.

We already plan to go down the day before if the weather looks bad.

Jerry and I flew SW from Tucson to Baltimore and they drove to Philly. Baltimore is a wonderful city. We did see the cruise port. Great restaurants nearby.
