I think the same thing happened on a Carnival ship this past week.

I would be angry if the ship had a way to contact me and didn't. On the other hand, if I was in a city and the weather was horrid and I knew I had to be somewhere, you can bet that I would be there early - early - early.

ALWAYS LEAVE EARLY FOR YOU CRUISE, SPEND THE NIGHT BEFORE IN A HOTEL, SO YOU CAN GET TO THE PORT EARLY THE DAY OF THE CRUISE.

Wow, I'd never thought of that scenario before. I wasn't aware that anyone was allowed to cruise without a passport these days.
