Which is your favorite "dam" ship?

I was wondering which ship is your favorite in the HAL fleet? And why? We have been on the Maasdam and loved it, we are now looking forward to trying the Volendam.

The first cruise we booked alone with no friends was on the Veendam. The St Louis Cardinals group cruise was aboard and we had a ball partying with them, We love the size of the ship and have cruised sister ships, Maasdam and Statendam. We have a B2B booked on another sister ship, the Ryndam.

K & R - I would love to try the Ryndam as well. Hopefully she will cruise out of Tampa again ... that's very convenient for us. I love the upgrades they did on her .... looks great!

We've only been on the Oosterdam, so it's hard for me to evaluate it. That was a very nice ship. :thumbup:

We have not sailied on HAL yet, but I can tell you that right about now any "dam" ship would be fine with us.

Jackie and Tony, why not join us on The Ryndam? We know you guys are going home to South Africa for a visit and it may not be feasible. We are booked for 7 days, DEC 26 2011 to Jan 2 2012 and Jan 2 to Jan 8 2012. If you can't join us for the first cruise, how about the second one. It's costing us less than half of the cost of the first and they are out of Tampa.

K & R - oh no!!! We would LOVE to cruise with you guys but I start Tax season on January 2nd!! Bummer. We usually try and cruise early December or wait until March. This coming year in March will be our long cruise on the Volendam. Hey, we should at least get together for dinner with you guys pre cruise????
