Anyone been to Ocho Rios lately?

Sorry - can't help you. The last 2 times we were in Ocho Rios we didn't get off the ship..

We didn't feel particularly safe in Ocho Rios, although we did climb the Dunn's River Falls. Sorry I can't help.

I hve heard bad stuff about Montego Bay.......?????

We did get off the ship and after pushing our way thru the gauntlet of drug pushers, etc., we hailed a taxi to Dunns River Falls. We enjoyed the Falls, however we do not care to go back!

I would advise that if you plan on seeing some of Ocho Rios go on an organized tour. Dunns River falls is definately something to see (and climb for the adventurous). We did not climb and a young man offered to take our photo with the falls in the background - then he proceeded to sell us back our own camera. Did not feel safe even walking around the dock area and a lot of the natives do not like to take no for an answer.

Just be careful and aware of your surroundings.
