While in Mediterranean Ports, does the Carnival Magic allow/permit passengers to bring Alcohol aboard?

I didn't know that they allow you to bring anything but wine aboard for personal consumption on board at any port. I think you can bring alcohol on at any port if you want to store it and take it home.

If you try to bring some in from port stops they hold it until you leave. Sorry. You can purchase alcohol from them for in cabin use. A 1 litre bottle of a pretty good Scotch cost $70.00. I pre ordered it and it was in our cabin when we embarked.

We have only cruised RCCL and Celebrity in the Med and both of them have allowed us to bring wine onboard - don't know about liquor.

Oh wait, sorry I forgot! When we were in Athens we bought a bottle of Ouzo and we were allowed onboard with it - that was on the Millenium. But each cruise line differs in their policies.
