Embarkation timesVS. the time you board

Looks like Carnival's embarkation times state 12:30 for most Florida cruises. My wife and i decided to show up about 1ish since they really won't allow you to get to your staterooms until 1;30 or so anyways.

I remember the good ole days, pre 2005 where you could board about 10:30 or 11 and have luggage before 1:30 aahhh the days...

WE KNOW THAT HOLLAND AMERICA & PRINCESS HAVE YOU STATE ROOM READY WHEN YOU BOARD, NO MORE HAULING LUGGAGE AROUND WHEN YOU EAT LUNCH.

I DON'T KNOW WHY CARNIVAL CANNOT ADOPT THIS ARRANGEMENT ALSO

I kow. They seem to use to be able o do it. All th luggage and crap running inot your heels and stuff.
