cruisetarp
First cruise on the Home Lines Homeric - what a wonderful line. I sailed on it in 1964 shortly after graduating from high school with my 2 best friends. There were no age restrictions at the time and we all fell in live with cruising during those 7 days. Then in the mid 80's we sailed on it twice more before the Home Lines went out of business. We introduced our kids to the joys of cruising on the Homeric. All Italian crew and white glove service. Never a problem with chair hogs as you were assigned a deck chair at embarkation and the deck steward would move it in the sun or to the shade whenever you wanted. Shari2
I remember them...they always used to have very good reviews. I used to have some pictures and stories of the line, and ships, in my old issues of Cruise Travel.
