What are your pre and post plans for a cruise?

Pre cruise hotel everywhere but Tampa and Port Canaveral. Love to tack on that extra day.

On cruises where we have to fly I like at least 2 days in the city we're embarking in if possible.

We always get a pre cruise hotel. When we cruised Alaska a few years ago we extended our stay a couple days in Anchorage.

On both of our first two cruises we had airline issues and cut it too close for comfort getting to the ship. Now, in the continental US, we’ll do one night pre- most of the time – just to be safe. We only stay post-cruise if it makes a really big difference in airfare. Farther away, like Europe or Hawaii, we like to visit more before and after.

I always fly in a day early as a precaution... after the cruise I don't really care if i end up stuck in Florida lol. sometimes I stay in a hotel depending on what day the cruise ends (if i have to get back to work). Getting to the cruise is a MUST... coming back... not so much lol
