Have you ever booked a suite?

I have had two and believe me, it spoils you. You have so much more room, a small bar, a larger and much nicer bathroom, bigger balcony, more seating and plenty of storage space. Also, great recessed lighting with dimmers.

One was free and one i had to pay a very small fee for.

Yes, Carnival's casino division offered us a completely comped suite on an 8 day cruise. It was really nice but I'd never pay extra for one....balcony cabins are great for me.

I booked my first suite for my Oct. cuise on the valor. I booked the a grand suite so I will let you know when I return in nov.

I compare the prices all the time. If the suite was affordable, I would totally consider it. For now, it's balconies.

I'm seriously considering an ocean suite for the Glory in January. I can get that for around 3 grand for the 4 of us. Grand suite looks really nice, but that's another $1400, so I think I'll suffer (if we end up booking that cruise).

We have never booked a suite but would love to try one if the price is right. We do love our balcony cabins and would have to get an amazing deal to sail without one.
