A lot of hotels have park-and-stay options, but the pier is much more convenient, although usually more expensive than other options. But when we get off the ship, we want to be able to go straight to our car and not wait around.

I know that a lot of people have asked where they can find a cheaper place to park instead of the parking at the cruise terminal, but I feel this way...is it worth it to risk your car parking off lot? I would rather pay the price of parking at the terminal knowing that there are security cameras and fenced in. Don't get me wrong, I know that anything can happen, but it's more to happen off site, then parking at the pier. Better safe then sorry is what I say.

The cars were fine when we got back, but still…
