Five days is much to short for a cruise! In spite of that we had a great time on the Elation and met a lot of nice folks. We cruised on the ship out of San Pedro, CA eleven years ago and the ship has been well maintained. We sure wished we had more time so we could have booked a B2B like new cruise friends Catherine and Jeff. We will try to write a short review of the cruise and ship later.

After the cruise we visited the USS Alabama Memorial Park and toured the battleship and the USS Drum submarine. We would recommend this to any visitor of Mobile, AL. It's to bad they are losing the Elation and we will miss the city as a cruise port.
