Carnival embarkation question

I guess initially it depends on customs clearing the ship, but what would you guess the earliest time to embark would be? OR what is the earliest you have ever gotten on the ship?

The brochure states 12:30....that seems late.....

THE EARLIEST WAS 12:00 AND BELIEVE IT OR NOT OUR STATEROOM WAS READY

We always get to the port by 11am and are on the ship before noon - but are Platinum.

Next cruise in the US, I plan on maybe getting to the port around 10:30am and be watching a football game that starts at noon. ;-)
