Ok, so i booked the Valor for next February. the price i first noticed was 349 pp, then 329, then 309, so i booked the ES rate.

Since then i have followed the pricing.....309-329-359-319-329-349-359- and now back down to 329.

This sure is weird and if i had anything better to do i would probably go crazy.................

Carnival prices are generated by computers using complicated algorithms based on supply and demand. I Understand that all prices are reevaluated every 3-4 hours to see if there is a need to change any of the prices. That's why the prices change so much.

No it isn't weird. I have done the same. Cruise only cost at booking was $2967, then $2837, $2707, $2597, $2497, $2417,$ 2397, $2317. Saved $650 with 7 price drops. Four were before final payment and the other 3 were OBCs. All this was within a 3 1/2 week period. Now it is back up to $2777. The price drops spoiled me, but I don't foresee any more coming. So there are other people that are weird and keep track, and I am one of them too :rolleyes2: .
