FREE handicap parking at Port of Miami

I have found out because i called 305-347-5515, spoke with a lady named Anna who said if you have the blue palcard=lanyard thing for parking, it is FREE....i just had never heard that before, followed up and it is what i found!

Sseems like it is only Miami........

So far Miami is the only Florida port we have found that does this but we have used it several times over the past years. I do know for sure that Ft. Lauderdale and Tampa do NOT allow free handicapped parking.

So, what is the process? You drive up with the lanyard hanginf rom the mirror and they let you in? Or do you still need a ticket or somehting in the dash? Or do they just let you out, after the cruise? other than the lanyard do you have to show or prove anything?

Wwe are going on the Valor in February. 20 years of marriage on Valentines day!

Gogetter - I would call that number again and get that information. We went 3 different times and it was handled 3 different ways. One year we had to request a form in advance to fill out - the next year we had to fill out that form at the garage with a line of cars behind us sitting on their horns and the third time we had to park in a special area. Seems they changed the rules fairly often.

YES MIAMI IS THE ONLY PORT, THE DISABLE PARKING IS FREE
