We're going on our first Carnival cruise in about 9 years. It was incredibly cheap using the Early Saver rate. It ended up at about $475 pp for the 7 days (that was after applying for and receiving 4 different price drops). Yesterday, we got a call from Carnival offering us an upgrade to an Ocean Suite cabin for about 150 pp. Since we never had a suite before, and we barely spent anything at all on the cruise, we grabbed it. We're sailing with good friends who also did the same (they're right next door). So in a couple of weeks, We will be sailing in our 1st suite. We're really looking forward to it.
