jacketwatch
CCL ship interior designer Joe Farkus is no longer with CCL. He was known for and criticized by some for his garish designs so we'll see how CCL decides it wants its ships to look.
coloradocruisers
Do you know if he retired, took another job offer, or was "let go"?
jacketwatch
Do you know if he retired, took another job offer, or was "let go"? This is what I read on x inre to the new ship, the Breeze "Carnival has dispensed with Joe Farcus, its wildly imaginative, wildly divisive lead designer for the last three decades. This time, Hamburg-based firm Partner Ship Design is leading the way with a toned-down vibe and tropical theme throughout."
DebbieandJerry
We're on 2 Carnival sailings this year. Neither are scheduled for dry dock or refurbishings. I'll certainly report if the garish has been calmed down!!
Jason
Very interesting. Joe has been behind the decour of every nearly every single Carnival ship built. It'll be very interesting to see the change for future ships!
