Jerry thought he died and went to heaven. For me, the best perk was the laundry. Coming home with clean clothes was so nice! Now I really only need to pack for 2 days. Who cares that I'm wearing the same stuff!

Thanks for taking the time to write such an informative review. Carnival has done well with shedding their party image and still remain the "fun" ships. Sounds like a great itinerary. Someday I hope to cruise off the west coast, too.:)

Thanks for the very complete review. Barb and I just booked for September 30, 2012 for our 35th anniversary. We have never sail on Carnival before and are looking forward to trying them. We enjoy our at sea time so this one sounds great.

Talked to Marcy last night and she said that if we didn't mind repeating the Carnival Spirit, they would be game "just to cruise". Guess I'll be looking at these prices as well.

Jerry and I really enjoyed the ship so it wouldn't be a bummer if we repeated this!
