The cruise line industry prides itself on passenger safety and security. Though the cruise lines don't disclose precisely how many security staff members are aboard each ship, there are usually a good number and they have some pretty good visibility throughout each ship. With the news of al Qaeda considering the hijacking of cruise ships (full story below), how safe do you feel? Are you comfortable in placing absolute trust with the cruise lines' security staff and experts? Do you think everything is already being done to protect us as much as possible from potential terrorist threats?
