Cruise preference. Ship or destination or both

As much as I would like to try one of the RCI Oasis class ships I can't get past the fact that their routes are not what I would like to cruise. They are also pretty expensive for seven days as well. So for me its a bt of both. I want a ship AND a destination as well. What about you?

With airline travel from our city being so expensive and inconvenient our first priority now is embarkation port and then ship. Itinerary has become less important.

In the Caribbean the itinerary is not important to us. In other places itinerary is #1

I agree Larry, Oasis class ships are way overpriced.

With airline travel from our city being so expensive and inconvenient our first priority now is embarkation port and then ship. Itinerary has become less important.

I have to agree we like driving to port. Jackie can take all the luggage she wants and won't brake the bank.

Good point. With us being about 20 mins. from O'Hare the airport issue never occured to me.

Our reply is the same as above. We prefer to cruise out of our home city of Tampa if we can. Unfortunately we do get tired of the Western Caribbean itinerary offered out of Tampa so then we venture to other destinations. Of course if money was no object we would like to do a world cruise :thumbup: Back to reality ...... we do a bit of both ... ship and itinerary.
