Jan115
Bad, bad idea. From what I read each person in the cabin has to pay for their own plan and that is a heck of a lot of money to spend on alcohol. I'll save it and upgrade my cabin! hazelson
Wrong idea all around. Drinking is enough of a problem - now they have a goal!!!! Not wise thinking!
DebbieandJerry
Just got this month's Cruise magazine and it looks like another line is also offering something similar. I think it was either Royal or Princess.
cruisetarp
Jan - You are right - each person has to have their own card. No sharing! We just spent 6 days on the Summit which offered the program. We did not purchase the program simply because we were docked in Bermuda for 3 of those days but even having wine with dinner - some foo foo drinks in the afternoon a drink or 2 in the theatre and a few nightcaps to end our day we didn't spent 1/2 of what the program would have cost us. DebbieandJerry
MaryLou, I'm betting that this program won't last! (At least, that is my hope)
GottaCruz
$60 per day for alcohol??? I agree with everyone above. That's way too many drinks and folks would want to get their money's worth which would make lots of drunks , which would mean many sick people, which would lead to all kinds of problems. Very bad idea. Whoever came up with it must be one heavy duty drinker. After one beer, I'm asleep.

DebbieandJerry
There was no all you can drink alcohol pitch on our cruise, but they did push the all you can drink soda for the first 2 days. First day it was $59/person. Second day it was $49/person. Okay, so they charge $2 for a can of soda from the room. That would be 30 cans in 8 days just to break even! The soda you get at the bar is in a glass - not even the can. Talk about raking in the money
