Unbelievable news! :thumbup: and this is why it pays, literally, to get travel insurance. I got insurance with insure my trip dot com and chose an American express plan. I sent a claim in for the new tickets we had to buy to get home which I purchased on Expedia using Lufthansa. Guess what? My claim was upheld and we got a full refund for the new tickets, some $2300.00 dollars. Just got the checks today. Amazing! :tongue:
