DebbieandJerry
One would think that Gavelston would be an easy place to access from the SW. WRONG! We have to fly to Houston and then either rent a car or take a taxi. According to the websites, the Gavelston port is about 50 miles away from Houston. Right now the airfare from Tucson to Houston is more than the airfare from Tucson to Florida. I don't get it. Houston is a hub for Continental. But, we keep looking and hoping that we can access this departure port.
WeCruiseToo
Debbie and Jerry, hope you find a good deal on airfare – that seems to be getting harder all the time! We have friends who just love cruising with Disney, so they’ll be happy to hear they’ll be able to visit new ports.
