Jason
After an extended run on the U.S. West Coast, and with the European economy still weak, the Walt Disney Co. has decided to move all four of its cruise ships to Florida during the first half of 2014. Disney Cruise Line said last week it will bring its original cruise ship, the Disney Magic, back to Port Canaveral beginning in January 2014. The 2,700-passenger ship has sailed out of New York and Galveston, Texas, this year and will spend some of next year in Europe. The Magic will join Disney's newest ships, the 4,000-passenger Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy, in Brevard County. The Dream and Magic will offer three- and four-night sailings, while the Fantasy will take seven-night voyages. By Jason Garcia and Sara K. WeCruiseToo
Disney is the master of cross promotion. I’m sure there will be plenty of theme park visits and Disney resort stays related to all those cruises. Hopefully it will lead to more new cruise lovers!
