A sister ship to the Costa Concordia was damaged Tuesday in a collision with a port structure in Marseille, France.

The 3,000-passenger Costa Pacifica suffered a 24-foot gash above the waterline after hitting a docking "dolphin" in high winds.

No one was injured in the incident, and the damage was repaired overnight, according to the company. As a result of the repairs, the ship left Marseille about eight hours behind schedule.

A photo of the damage at French news outlet Econostrum.info shows a horizontal indentation running along the starboard side of the vessel around mid-ship.

Christened in 2009, the 114,500-ton Costa Pacifica is similar in size and layout to the Costa Concordia, which ran aground and capsized earlier this year off the coast of Italy.

The vessel is scheduled to visit Barcelona.
