Jason
Though it still calls it a trial program, Carnival Cruise Lines has expanded its Cheers! all-inclusive beverage program to a total of 11 ships. The latest to get the drinks deal are Carnival Miracle, Carnival Freedom and Carnival Magic, Senior Cruise Director John Heald posted on Facebook. The program is also available on Carnival Victory, Carnival Splendor, Carnival Breeze, Carnival Dream, Carnival Conquest, Carnival Legend, Carnival Valor and Carnival Liberty. Under the Cheers! program, guests pay $42.95 per person, per day, plus a 15 percent gratuity, for wine, beer and cocktails usually priced at $10 or less. Also included are sodas and non-alcoholic frozen cocktails. Guests can sign up for the Cheers! Beverage Program at the Atrium Bar, Casino Bar or the bar at the main pool area. Guests must be 21 years or older and each adult assigned to the same stateroom must purchase the program. Royal Caribbean International and Norwegian Cruise Line also are trying out beverage programs. Royal Caribbean’s Classic Beverage Package costs $45 per guest, per day, for beer, house wines by the glass, non-alcoholic cocktails, fountain soda and juices. The Premium Beverage Package costs $55 per guest, per day, and includes the aforementioned, as well as frozen drinks and all cocktails including premium brands. Both package prices include service charges. Norwegian is testing an all-inclusive drink package on Norwegian Sun, Norwegian Gem and Norwegian Jade. The package costs $49 per person per day, plus gratuity. Source: Travel Pulse Click here to view the article
DebbieandJerry
Thank you for finding this article. This is what I was referring to back in August/September. As for me and Jerry - a BIG no thank you! But I imagine that there are many travelers who think this is a bargain.
Jan115
I agree. Thanks, but no thanks! I can find better uses for my money.
WeCruiseToo
This must be popular – and profitable – for the cruise lines. They all seem to be rolling out this type of promotion!
