Tim, thanks for the review! The Jewel out of NOLA was one of the ships we were considering for a B2B cruise at New Year. We just opted for the Serenade of the Seas out of NOLA.

Glad you both could get away after the very trying year you both had. Thanks for the update on the Brazilian restaurant. Sounds like they haven't quite figured out the way it's supposed to work. We've been to several land-based Brazilian restaurants, and sounds like NCL could learn a few things in that department.

So great that on your B'day you could meet new friends including a Brother Firefighter!! Unfortunate about some of the mishaps like the specialty restaurant but you have the right frame of mind. I'm a little surprised that NCL had issues! Maybe it was a "Training" cruise with some new crew members getting broken in? Welcome home. BTW, my name is Tim too and I'm from L.I. (Bayshore and Coram)!! Gotta love the LIRR huh?
