Leaving Dover on Sep 25 for a repo to NY and wondering

who may have sailed out of Dover before. Looking to see what is in the area worth doing. I know the white cliffs are there but what else might we enjoy. Thanks

Dover Castle and the Wartime Underground Tunnels are the two most popular sites to see in Dover, or at least that is what we would have done if we spent any time in port before or after our cruise. You might consider a stay in the more charming town of Canterbury, as we did, just 30 minutes away. Canterbury Cathedral is not to be missed, and the Old Town is very historic with lots of character. If you do go, I highly recommend House of Agnes, a very friendly and comfortable B&B in town. My blog and photos (in my signature) have more info. Enjoy your cruise!
