Cruise Line Buffets?

Very often one reads the comment "plenty of food" or "the susal buffet food". As we have cruisers here who have cruised on all cruise lines, I would like to ask which is your favorite cruise line buffet and why?

I guess Princess, since they serve later in the evening. I can't remember any particular line standing out when it comes to taste.

Tough to say. Its definitely not RCI based on our two cruises with them. I would have to say Celebrity gets my vote as the buffet on the Equinox was the best we have ever had, even better than the Tahitian Princess which is saying something as the Equinox serves 5x the number of passengers. :thumbup:

CCL has been good too, better than RCI I would say. 2nd is Princess IMHO.

We haven't experienced horrible buffets at all. I agree that Celebrity knows how to feed you.

But I do need to add:

We have been on 2 NCL cruises where if the item was empty, the item was never refilled. We weren't happy about that.

I know everyone has different likes and dislikes with regard to food. What we like about Princess is the fact that they have eggs benedict and egg mcmuffins on the breakfast buffet - also Croque Monseur in their sandwich choices. Royal Caribbean generally have a different curry on the buffet every day which we absolutely love...... which makes a great variation from sandwiches, hamburgers, pizza and the daily roast offering of the day.
