Greetings from the Pacific Ocean! I'm unable to upload photos here like I planned, so I'll just say we are having a great time thus far. San Francisco was fabulous, Alcatraz was amazing, embarkation was quick, efficient and not the tale of woe people talk about, the ship is beautiful - and, yes, definitely showing some age. Not a real bother, though. The food, service, and cabin are all great, and the comedy show last night with comic, Kevin Hughes, was the funniest ever at sea.

I don't want to use all of my 250 free minutes here, so when we are in Juneau tomorrow hopefully I'll report back again - maybe with photos this time.
