Carnival debuts tropical themed bars at Miami Heat's American Airlines arena

Carnival Cruise Lines, a partner of the two-time defending NBA champion Miami Heat, has brought its signature brand of fun to the AmericanAirlines Arena in downtown Miami with three new exciting beverage venues – the RedFrog Bar, RedFrog Rum Bar and BlueIguana Tequila Bar, which are modeled after similar bars located on select vessels throughout the line’s “Fun Ship” fleet.

Located on the 100 level main concourse, RedFrog Bar offers a menu of refreshing tropical-infused rum drinks like the Rum Jumper (made with Bacardi Superior, Bacardi 8, banana liqueur, and orange and pineapple juices); the Midnight Mojito (Bacardi Oakheart Spiced Rum, brown sugar, mint, lime and club soda); and Red’s Painkiller (Bacardi 8, Bacardi Coco and tropical fruit juices),

Upstairs on the 400 level, there’s the RedFrog Rum Bar offering a similar menu to its 100-level counterpart, as well as the BlueIguana Tequila Bar, where fans can enjoy tequila-spiked cocktails such as Bite of the Iguana (Cazadores Silver, peach schnapps, orange juice and sour mix); Spicy Margarita (Cazadores Reposado, chipotle pineapple syrup, and sour mix); and the Green Iguana (Corzo Silver, Bacardi Coconut Rum, Midori melon liqueur, pineapple juice and sour mix)

All three bars offer a variety of bottled and draft beers, including Carnival’s private label draft brew ThirstyFrog Red.
