We were in St Croix when a passenger did the same thing. That passenger spent the remainder of the cruise "in the brig"

An American tourist daredevil jumps off a cruise ship from the deck while the ship is moving slowly past a beach on Grand Turk Island (Turks and Caicos Islands). The jump was about 50-60 feet and captured on his GoPro camera. Witnesses reported him to local police, leading him to be detained, then booted off the vessel, then promptly flown home - sadly bringing his vacation to a sudden end. Lesson learned don't jump ship, at least not a cruise ship!

What a crazy thing to do. Wonder if it was worth not getting to cruise on Carnival again. Now he might have some others who see this video thinking that was cool and they want to do it.

I once saw a guy strip down to his shorts and jump off a bridge into the Chicago river much to the cheers of a bunch of onlookers. This was quite late during the 4th of July WE. Wonder if they are related. :D
