I used to have a boss who had emphysema...and he would come in to my working place and light up...and he would cough so bad that we would think he was going to die right in front of us...cigarettes are truly addicting...I didn't smoke even one pack a day, yet, when I quit ,so I am so glad I did it way back when before I got really addicted. jacketwatch Posted September 1, 2014 Report Share Posted September 1, 2014 I too smoked when I was about that age, for about 1-2 yrs. and it was about 1ppd and quitting was one of the hardest things I have ever done.
