barealaskans
So we are from Alaska, and headed to our first cruise in february. This cruise happens to be " The big nude boat " which we are very much looking forward to. Is there anyone here on the Cruise Crazies that has experience with Bare Necessities, and other than the obvious nudity, what the experience is like? Jan115
Wow, that's an interesting "first cruise" selection! All I know about them is pretty much nothing - too much skin for me, thanks. That particular agency charters a cruise ship every February (Celebrity Constellation are lined up for this and and next) for those folks who aren't shy about baring all. I don't recall anyone here on CruiseCrazies ever having been on one, but I could be wrong. Have a blast! Keep us posted on how one plans for a clothing-optional cruise - we'd love to know. Be sure to tell us all about it when you return!
WeCruiseToo
Welcome Barealaskans! While we haven't sailed on a Bare Necessities cruise before, we have friends that go every year. The Celebrity Constellation is a nice ship with great dining options and wonderful entertainment. They have many themed party nights and do have rules about dressing for dinner and covering up while docked in port. Our friends even book back to back cruises (sometimes 2 or 3) connecting to the BN cruise because they like cruising so much. If you'd like more info about the ship or typical cruise activities, feel free to message us.
Shari2
Hope you have a fun cruise. That would be a bit too much for me, an old-fashioned, over-weight granny...LOL Jan115
