Excellent review, Jan...loved the pictures with it. Thanks for sharing. Being from Minnesota, I don't think this would be my quick getaway...I felt a little chilly when you mentioned the cold...LOL but, as you also said, I would like to sail in the warmer weather on her.

Nice review and it makes me all the more excited about our upcoming cruise on the Getaway. So a NYC cabbie had a snappy come back about your cruise to nowhere. What a surprise hey. They're usually so reserved. :laugh:

You'll like the Getaway, Larry, and I look forward to hearing all about the outside decks that were off limits to me on the Breakaway last weekend. Yes, this was a rare NY cabbie with a sense of humor. We had a lot of fun with him!

How many outside decks do they have?

Decks 15-18 are open, as well as Deck 8's Waterfront - which is what I was most interested in. I think I mistakenly called it the Boardwalk in my review.
